About me
If you’ve had a chance to read my welcome, you know that I’m a singer, songwriter, musician, novice music producer, and actor from Michigan. As a nonverbal toddler diagnosed with autism at 18 months, I began early intervention school, speech, music, play, and occupational therapies. I don’t remember those early years, but my parents say I started speaking words after age four. Turning eight, I found my love of singing, dancing, playing piano, and acting with FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation, an incredible non-profit organization. I grew up on FAR’s stage, where I was at my happiest engaging and entertaining audiences.
I’m deeply grateful for the many opportunities I had as a musician and actor during my teen years. I’m a self-proclaimed theatre nerd who has acted in 18 musical theater productions. This year, I joined some gifted autistic artists and co-wrote and sang vocals for some tracks on Stars of the Spectrum, the first-ever all-autistic musicians’ album. I’m also so lucky to have recently performed for enthusiastic audiences at iconic venues in Boston, Detroit, and Los Angeles.
I’m continuing my music education with Berklee Online and staying immersed in my music as I write, perform, and record original songs from my heart. My compelling debut single, “Make Kindness Reality,” and second release, “Complicated Me,” are celebrated anthems for people like me who are differently abled. I’m all about promoting acceptance and cheering on people working through challenges. A million thanks to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism for the massive assist in getting my songs out there! My message for individuals who are different is, "You've got this; keep dreaming and reaching for the sun, moon, and stars!"
